ABOUT THE AUTHOR

 Christie was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up in Atlanta, she was always interested in the history of that city. Her mother was an avid story teller, especially relating stories of her childhood. Those stories are the basis for the novel Whispering Oaks.

After a long and full career, she is now retired in the Villages, Florida where she belongs to various writing groups, including The Florida Writers Association.
